goAgri.com today announced plans for the development of a farm management software product with the aim of aiding farming communities world wide in the management of their farming duties. Unveiled in Windhoek, Namibia, goAgri.com's farm mangement software will bring sweeping changes to how farmers experience the world wide web. Users will be able to use an online service that will be free of charge while at the same time having the option of using value added services, at a price.

"I have been working on this product on and off for as long as I can remember. It is my passion." said Johan Strydom, founder of goAgri.com. " In addition to the farm management functionality of the product we will also be introducing social networking capabilities that will allow the farmer to have unprecedented power and control over the management and social aspects of the farm. We're excited to be offering such a service to the world and we look forward to sharing more information with everyone as development progresses."

1. A Farm Dashboard that will allow for mangement of

  • Social Networking. This will allow for the integration of facebook and twitter functionalities as well as functionalities specific to goAgri.com
  • People. Keep an employee database with a functionality to allow for public viewing of employee profiles.
